NuMetric supports various e-invoice types, depending on whether the user is registered for income tax only or sales tax, as well as based on the sales channel (Sales Module, POS, or eCommerce). Below is the breakdown:
1. For Income Tax–Registered Users:
These users can issue the following e-invoice types via the NuMetric Sales Module:
Local Invoice
Type: Regular or Cash
Description: Standard local transactions within Jordan.
Export Invoice
Type: Regular or Cash
Description: Used for goods/services sold to customers outside Jordan.
2. For Sales Tax–Registered Users:
In addition to the above, these users have access to an extra e-invoice type:
Development Zone Invoice
Type: Regular or Cash
Description: Used when sales are made to entities located in designated development zones in Jordan.
⚠️ Important Notes:
Export and Development Zone invoice types are only available in the Sales Module (NuMetric.work).
If neither Export nor Development Zone is selected, the invoice is considered a Local e-invoice by default.
The Development Zone e-invoice type is only available for sales tax-registered users.
The POS and now8 eCommerce (Online Orders) support Local Cash Invoices only, due to regulatory compliance.
System Logic:
Local = Default, unless another type is selected.
Export & Development Zone = Manual toggle for eligible users under Sales Module only.
POS / now8 Orders = Always generate Local Cash Invoices.
