Starter Account Inactivity Policy

Created 6/12/2025

Updated over 2 months ago

Overview

This policy describes how NuMetric manages Starter (free-tier) accounts that remain inactive for extended periods. It applies to all users on the Starter plan.

Inactivity Definition

A Starter account is considered inactive when:

  • No User has logged in for twelve (12) consecutive months; and

  • The account has recorded zero (0) financial transactions during that period.

Inactivity Notifications

NuMetric will send one or more notifications to the account owner before taking action.
Users may reactivate their account at any time prior to deletion simply by logging in.

Archival & Deletion

If no action is taken after the notification period:

  • The account may be archived, restricting access; and

  • After the archive retention window, the account may be permanently deleted, including all Customer Data linked to the Starter account.

Data Responsibility

Users are responsible for exporting any required records prior to deletion.
NuMetric is not responsible for data loss due to prolonged inactivity where notifications were not acted upon.

Exclusions

This policy applies only to Starter (free-tier) accounts.
Paid accounts and accounts with financial activity are not subject to inactivity deletion.

Policy Updates

NuMetric may update this policy periodically. Continued use of the Starter plan constitutes acceptance of the latest version.
